As you are all aware of by now we have done a massive elimination of
many of the plates, bowls and oatmeal boxes to make room for better
storage area for our molds. This will help prevent chipping and
breakage of the heavy molds. Perhaps we were a bit enthusiastic,
and for that I do apologize for in hind sight we should have given
you some notice, but many of the boxes were crushed and unusable and
many of the plates and bowls were just too greasy and dirty and
really not useable. I have purchased a few simple plates that are
now located in a lower cabinet by the wheels. However I am
insisting that if you use any of them that you clean, wash, dry and
return them to the cabinet.
We are also going to do away with the newspaper bin. We thank all
of you who have supplied the club with them. They are being
replaced by white paper, the same size as the newspaper. This is
more eco-friendly so I ask that no one bring anymore newspaper.
The box of white paper is presently on top of the counter; it is
labeled.
On Friday, a member of the Surprise Arts and Cultural Center
will be visiting us. It would be nice if there were several people
working in the studio when he comes. That will be between 12 and 1
pm
Thank you for your understanding and help in making our studio be
the best it can be
